2020 Stampin Up annual catalog

New 2020 Stampin Up Annual Catalog Overview

Today is a highly anticipated day, the day I received my first order from the 2020 Stampin Up annual catalog. Stampin Up demonstrators have access to the catalog a month earlier than customers, but can order only select products early. I’ve had a lot of fun playing with the products that I ordered early, but my favorite items in the catalog finally became available last Tuesday.

So hard to choose!

When I look through the catalog and find items I can’t possibly live without, I take several factors into consideration. First, I try to come up with 4 or 5 ways I might use the product. If I can’t picture that, then I apply three more questions. First, is this something that I will regret not ordering later. This is especially true for limited-time items like the designer series paper or holiday/ mini-catalog items. While it’s not difficult to find retired items for sale after-market, consumable items like paper, ribbon and embellishments are much harder to come by.  Demonstrators also have access to the carry-over list which helps make those decisions at the end of a sales period.

Next, I consider if I already have something that I could substitute for the item in question. Often, I have stamps that are stylistically similar.  Last, sometimes the item is just too darn cute to pass up (looking at you, Zany Zebra).

So many excellent choices

This year, the annual catalog has a multitude of products that are versatile and can be used to build layers and textures on your projects. There is a huge selection of dies to create labels in every shape and size. Dies to create stitched edges, scalloped shapes, and sentiment labels.
