Elegant Snowflake Splendor Christmas Card
I thought this was one of the prettiest cards in the Snowflake Splendor suite in the Stampin Up holiday catalog. So I decided to CASE it but put my own spin on it. I love ??? the Winter Snow Embossing Folder and thought that the Pool Party salt-splashed paper was the perfect subtle background to showcase those flakes.
First, one improvement that I did off-camera was to add a Whisper White cardstock backing to the embossed DSP panel. It wasn’t quite thick enough to be raised up with dimensional. Another option would have been to back it with a thin foam sheet.

Next, I used my Top 10 Favorites Tasteful Labels dies for the sentiment panel and used the Sparkle stamp instead of the Friendship stamp. One other change that I made was to swap out the Just Jade Gingham Ribbon with the beautiful Mint Macaron ribbon found in the Gilded Autumn suite.
As you can see in the picture above, I also used Just Jade ink instead of white embossing powder. That allowed me to add some extra stamped snowflakes in Pool Party ink. Add in some Blue Adhesive-backed Gems and my card has the same snowy sparkle but is unique.
