Flower and Field DSP Thank You Card

This cheery thank you card features the free Flower and Field DSP from the 2021 Stampin’ Up Sale-a-bration promotion.  It can be earned for free with a $50 purchase through February 28th.

In addition to the pretty florals, this card has lots of texture from the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder.  The sunny So Saffron paper looks like a hand-troweled oil paint or a plastered wall and adds visual interest while not competing with the pretty Flower and Field DSP.

Add Your Choice of Sentiment

I thought the  font in the Thanks sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set was a perfect compliment to the designer series paper.  It was stamped in Cherry Cobbler Ink and coordinates with the Cherry Cobbler cardstock used for the base layers for each layer on the card.  If Thanks isn’t your gig, you could also make this into a cheery birthday card with the Happy Birthday sentiment in the  Approaching Perfection stamp set, another Sale-a-bration free product choice with purchase.  I used that stamp in my last card, which you can see here.  The Thinking of You stamp from Good Morning Magnolia is another good choice to fit this sentiment strip.

Add Your Choice of Flower and Field DSP

Yellow usually isn’t my color, but I loved how it looked as the background on this card.  You could change this up by picking a different color combination to coordinate with the other patterns in the Flower and Field DSP.  Here are some options:
