Prized Peony Get Well Card
A special mom undergoing a major surgery deserves a special get well card and the Prized Peony Get Well Card let her know just how special she is. When I first opened up the Best Year bundle and saw the plaid-making dies, I knew the grid die was going to get repurposed. This card was the perfect place to try out my idea.
The grid die cuts small rectangles and that meant the background pattern needed to extend to all squares. The Prized Peony paper collection had several possibilities but I wanted to make sure the background didn’t compete with the beautiful stamped image that I wanted to use on the top layer. This paper worked perfectly.
It’s best to watch the video to see how I pieced it all back together without resorting to a puzzle-solving afternoon. Hint: the surprise ingredient came from the kitchen!
