Stampin Up Holiday 2020 Retiring Products Sale
Stampin’ Up’s list of retiring products from the Holiday catalog was just released, just in time for their Year-End Closeout Sale. The Sale starts on December 8th and goes through January 4th, 2021. However, products are available while supplies last. So if there’s something you’ve had your eye on, shopping sooner rather than later is advised.
If your order is over $150, I want you to get your Stampin Rewards. Don’t use the code, I’ll contact you directly. **Wrapped in Texture folders are while supplies last.
You can download the full list of Stampin Up Closeout Sale products to see which ones will be retiring, in case your favorite isn’t listed below. I sorted it by product type then by catalog page to make it easier to find products. There are two versions, one is a pdf version. The other is an Excel file that you can sort in whichever way makes the most sense to you.
My Favorite Products Retiring from the Holiday 2020 Catalog
What am I sad to see go? There were a lot of fun products in this year’s catalog, including some I haven’t yet had the chance to play with and share. However, I rounded up 10 that I will be extra sad to see go. Plus a couple that will return but that I’m stocking up on to use before they make their appearance next year.
Bundles & Stamps
I love snowflakes and had so much fun creating cards with this bundle. Plus, snowflakes are one of those winter card staples.
The dies in this bundle were versatile and were a nice change from a stamped sentiment.
Plus, we can all use a little Peace and Joy after this year!
This is a bundle that I haven’t yet had a chance to play with, so I’m sad to see it go. Instead of holiday cards, I actually envisioned using it for Easter cards (lamb and bunny) and for kids cards in general
This set returned from last year, and I was glad to see it. I love the embossing that the small leaf dies left in the leaves. The sentiments are also nice.
I LOVE the Christmas Blessings stamp in this set. It just arrived last week with my pre-order box of goodies, so this is another one I haven’t had the chance to use.
This stamp set has lots of versatile Christmas and non-denominational greetings in it.
Papers
My all-time favorite Stampin’ Up designer series paper. I absolutely adore the colors and serene imagery in this paper. Definitely one to get another package or two of.
This fun plaid paper took a bit to grow on me, but I see so much more than Fall or Christmas papers in this collection. There’s a good selection of paper for masculine cards, spring greetings, and cards for young girls. Another one that I will be grabbing an extra set.
This lovely paper made it so quick and easy to make a bunch of poinsettia cards without needing to stamp. The Poinsettia Petals stamp and die set are not retiring, they will be back next year. But, they will be available individually. This paper is already marked Low Inventory, so if you want to use it for future cards, I’d grab some soon.
Embossing Folders
These embossing folders can be used for so much more than just holiday or fall cards. And, they’re perfect to use in the new Mini Stampin Cut & Emboss machine that will be debuting right after these retire.
Check out the hands-on preview of the new Mini Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine.
This snowflake embossing folder was awesome. It has just the right coverage of snowflakes, and they’re very detailed. I had fun playing with this whole product suite. This is one you can use for many years in the future.
Stock up now on these Stampin Up Closeout Sale returning products
There are a couple products that will be back in future catalogs, but that I want to use before they return.
I love this red velvet paper and used it to make lots of poinsettias.
However, I also have plans to use it on Valentines Day cards and will be grabbing an extra package to have enough on hand until it returns in the 2021 Holiday catalog
I also loved using these Wonderful Gems. They really are wonderful. But, we’ll have to wait until the 2021 Holiday catalog to see them again. They were going to be featured on some Valentines cards, and the clear gems can be used with the new Fine Art Floral paper.
Last but not least, these Sequins for Everything are very versatile and can be used year-round. I love making shaker cards and these worked great! The good news is, these will reappear in the annual catalog. So if you miss out on them now, they’ll be back soon.
