In card-making, I’m not sure if there’s anything more terrifying than trying to come up with handmade card ideas for teenage girls. The risk of being greeted with teenage scorn and eye rolls. AmIright? Hopefully this playful card design would pass the muster of even the most intimidating teenage girl.
The design leverages the easy-to-use Memories & More cards and papers from the Flowers For Every Season collection. In fact, there was no stamping involved thanks to the fun 3×4 cards in the collection. It just took a bit of extra care to trim down the Memories & More card evenly on each side to just fit inside the largest of the Ornate Frames dies. I maximized my use of the Magenta Madness paper by cutting the ornate framed element out of the middle of the bottom layer. It was going to be covered up by the striped paper anyways, may as well make the most of it! One die cut, some paper trimming, and this card was fast and easy to put together.

The sentiment on the Memories & More card is very occasion-neutral, so this card could be used for a variety of purposes—birthdays, thank yous, a Thinking of You card. And hopefully wouldn’t trigger one of those teenage girl eye-rolls.
